Removal Of Crystal Violet Dye From Aqueous Solution with Pistachio Shell Powder: Optimization Of Process By Taguchi Method

چکیده

For environmental applications, the production of inexpensive but superior adsorbents is essential. The Taguchi method was applied as an experimental design in this paper to determine optimum conditions for removal crystal violet dye using pistachio shell powder batch experiments. effects pH (3–9), initial concentration (2–10 mg•L-1), contact time (30–360 mins) and adsorbent dose (0.25–4 g•L-1) were studied L16 orthogonal array order achieve maximum removal. a "the-larger-the-better" response, percent transformed into accurate S/N ratio. In range various parameters, optimal condition found be = 6, concentration=10 mg•L-1, time=360 mins 4 g•L-1. Under conditions, percentage obtained 93.6±0.1%. analysis variance results indicate that contribution control factor descending (33.17%) > (27.43%) (22.89%) (16.52%).
